Biocide BKC is also called Benzalkonium Chloride, and it belong to cationic surfactants which is non-oxidizing biocide.  It withholds algae, fungi, and bacteria. In oilfield industry it controls Sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), proliferation of algae and sludge reproduction. It has properties of soluble in water, low toxicity, no toxicity accumulations and it is not affect the water hardness.
